FCP target sites in Cherkasy oblast are Uman city and Uman rayon. Details on the situation in the child welfare sector in each target site are available in the Baseline Assessment (MS Word) conducted in January-March, 2005. Resulting from a series of community workshops conduted by FCP in the target sites in 2004-2005, the communities of Uman city and Umansky rayon developed the local action plans for 2006 to establish integrated systems of family-based care for orphans and children out family care. The plans will be implemented with support from FCP, Uman City Council and Uman rayon State Administration.
