FCP target sites in Dnipropetrovska oblast are the city of Dnipropetrovsk and Novomoskovsky rayon. Details on the situation in the child welfare sector in each target site are available in the Baseline Assesment (MS Word) conducted in January-March, 2005.

Resulting from a series of community workshops conduted by FCP in the target sites in 2004-2005, the communities of Dnipropetrovsk city and Novomoskovsky rayon developed the local action plans for 2006 to establish integrated systems of family-based care for orphans and children out family care. The plans will be implemented with support from FCP, Dnipropetrovsk City Council and Novomoskovsky rayon State Administration.
